5 Months

Well Presley is 5 months now and doing great... she is partly mobile and rolling around everywhere. She is eating rice cereal in the mornings and a jar of baby food at night... pretty soon she will be crawling...
We had a great 4th of July went over to my brother and sister-n-laws, good food and great company... what more could you ask for....
Tiffany made her shirt for her outfit and it turned out great I just loved it :) I got the shorts and hat from The Children's Place.. I love that store. Tiffany got a little pool for the girls to swim (lay) in and Presley seemed to really like it.

Update

Its been awhile since I have updated this so here goes. Presley will be 4 months on the 28th of May, I had a wonderful 30th birthday, Nic and all 3 kids took me to dinner we were joined by Janelle and Tim, Jonathan and Regan, Deah and Nick, and Tiffany and Brian, Christopher, Carter and Kaylee. We went to my favorate place Texas Road House... YUMMY...

Then came Mother's Day it was my first one and it was so awesome just relizing that I am a mommy now and I love every day of it, its truly amazing :) I got my first Mother's Day card from all 3 kids :)

I have gone back to work and it feels really good to be working again, I miss Presley very much but it feels so good to see how happy she is to see me when I get back. Jill is watching Presley for us while I am working and it is going really well, her daughter Alyssa just loves Presley so much. I think we are very lucky to have her as a friend, it makes leaving a little easier knowing she is in such good hands :)

Presley stayed the night with Deah the other night it was her first time she has not slept at the apartment in her bed. Deah said she did really well.

Presley is sleeping thru the night, its so great to get a full nights sleep and I know it helps Nic when im away. We get to start rice cereal once she is 4 months so that will be fun to get to feed her something other than the bottle. I have tried and tried to give her a binky but she just wont take it and about 3 weeks ago I found out why... she suckes her thumb... (hopefully we will be able to break her of it when its time)

Shots (2 months)

Miss Presley will be 2 months tomorrow, we went to the Pediatrician today to get her first set of shots. It was very hard to watch them give them to her and even harder the rest of the day with a fussy baby. Good thing we don't have to do that again for another 2 months, hopefully they wont go as fast as these past 2, it seems like we just left the hospital. She weighed 11lbs today and was 21 3/4 in long.

Zoo

My cousin Jessica and her daughter Kylee (17 months) came to visit us this past weekend. We had such a great time getting to see them. My cousin James (her brother) was also in town, and his daughters, Madison (8 yrs old) and Shelby (6 yrs old) were on spring break so he had them. Jessica and me drove to Alvin with our little girls on Sunday to visit with her Dad and with James and his girls. On Monday we went to the Zoo, James and his girls meet us there. I just love the Zoo, it was mine and Presley's first outing somewhere (other than visiting friends and family, and doctors). It was fun to get to be with my cousins since I dont get to see them that much, but it was frustrating, im still adjusting to this new role as a Mom. It will come easier to me one day :)

6 Weeks

Well on 3-11-09 Presley was 6 weeks old. It goes by so fast she is just getting so big, I took her to her Pediatrician because she wont sleep at night, she has her days and nights mixed up. I have tried to keep her up thru the day and she still doesn't sleep at night. So now as hard as it is I am just letting her cry it out so to speak. However this makes me end up crying with her. I just dont know what else to do. Well she weighed in at 10lb 3oz :). I also went to the doctor for my 6 week cheekup since her birth and he said everything is looking good healing just fine but still healing. I had to go see him the week before due to I have gotten a infection in my breast, well the infection hurt so bad to nurse I decided to just pump and feed her with a bottle (of breastmilk) the bottle feeding is going well. My infection however got worse and I got a different medicine to take, it seems to be getting better now, hopefully this will take care of it. I really like the bottle feeding and will cont to do it. I just got so frustrated just nursing, and she wont take both.

We went on Valentines Day and took her first set of pictures and I just got them back yesterday so I took pictures of the pictures with my camera so I can post them.

Ok so I'm new to this Blogging stuff but ill give it a try. LOL. I have recently became a mom of a beautiful little girl. Presley Renee born on January 28, 2009 @ 6:42 a.m. 7lbs 11oz and 20in long. She was born via C-section due to she was breached and come to find out my pelvic bone was too small. She will be a month old tomorrow and when people say they grow up so fast they really mean it. I cant belive she will be a month old and even though she is still small she is getting so big. She is just truly amazing, it is awesome watching her grow everyday. I am breastfeeding and it truly is one of the hardest things I have tried doing. I want to give up but then I dont I go back and forth with it. I have tried to give her a bottle also but she just wont take it. Its truly frustrating and rewarding all at the same time. She really doesnt do much still except eat, sleep, and fill up a diaper(she's really good at that). She will sit in her swing or bouncer for about 20 min and then she starts to get bored with it. I have recently pulled out the floor mobile thing (it lays on the floor and has stuff hanging from it and plays music) she likes it. She will hopefully start likeing them more and more as she keeps growning and getting bigger.
